About Bow Occasions
Wedding Planning & Design
Bow Occasions is a wedding planning and design company, owned by UK wedding planner Louise Rowland.
Available to work on weddings in and around London and across the UK, Louise works closely with her couples to uncover their unique story and shares that in each step of the planning and design process ensuring no detail is missed.
As a small business owner, it is important to me that I am able to give my couples an amazing (and fun) wedding planning experience from start to finish. My boutique approach is not meant for mass event production therefore I am proud to limit the number of weddings I take on per year.
Hi, I’m Louise, Owner and Lead Wedding Planner at Bow Occasions.
I fell in love with weddings one gorgeous summer’s day in 2009 whilst holidaying with my now husband in Turin, Italy when I too became a bride to be. With a background in marketing and events, I wanted to combine my corporate experience with my love for weddings and good design and from this Bow Occasions was born.
I find such joy in planning beautiful, timeless weddings for my couples. With a passion that marries planning and design, I ensure that each wedding I plan is relaxed, stylish and unique.
My style is creative, stylish, modern and fun. The ideal Bow Occasions couple are looking for a UK wedding planner with great attention to detail and a professional, creative personality (and you usually become a friend along the way). I’m a true romantic and more often than not, can be found standing at the back of the ceremony room with a tear in my eye. No matter how many weddings I plan and attend, they never get tiresome and this is how I know that I have found my true passion.
When I’m not planning weddings, you will usually find me spending time with my son, Dominic and my husband, Dean. We love the simple pleasures in life such as finding a great coffee shop for a big slice of cake on a Saturday morning or strolling along the seaside and skimming stones in the sea.
I’m so looking forward to getting to know you.
A few of my favourite things…
I think it’s hugely important to have a connection with your wedding planner (after all, you’ll be liaising with them for the best part of 12 – 18 months) and what better way to do so than to ensure you have things in common. Here’s a few of my favourite things…
Family; my son, my husband and my family are my world
Leopard print, stripes and lace
A big slice of coffee cake
Afternoon tea with close friends
Catching a film at the cinema
A glass of prosecco on a Friday afternoon
Going to a gig with my husband
Online shopping (ASOS I blame you!)
Getting lost in a good book
I would love to walk this wedding planning journey with you. Please get in touch for more details about how I can help you plan your wedding.
I can’t wait to meet you and hear all about your big day!
