The first Bow Occasions Wedding Tweet Up

Hmmm so the valentines themed week didn’t really happen. Things have been crazy here at Bow Occasions which is fabulous news but something has had to give. Unfortunately that something was the blog. I am going to try so hard to keep all my lovely readers entertained but please do bear with me.

One of the exciting things that happened this week was the first Bow Occasions South East Wedding Tweet Up. After talking to so many lovely people on twitter I decided it was high time to put faces to tweets and arrange a meet up. The tweet up was held at Bacchus Pub and Kitchen in Hoxton, London and if you haven’t visited before and are in or near the area I would certainly recommend a visit. Lovely venue and fabulous, helpful staff – what more could you ask for. The Redfords, an extremely talented wedding band and acoustic duo played an acoustic duo set for us which went down a storm. The lovely Sarah from Especially Delicious brought along some delicious cupcakes and cake pops and last but not least Annelie from Annelie Eddy Photography took the photos you will see below. Please do stop by and check out these wonderful wedding suppliers, they really are a great bunch.

South East Wedding Tweet Up – NEW DATE

Happy Friday everyone!!

I am pleased to say that after having to unfortunately cancel the South East Wedding Tweet Up last month due to the snow, it has now been rescheduled. All of those who planned to attend the tweet up last month will have received an email advising of the new date.

The tweet up will take place in London on Wednesday 9th February (no snow allowed) at the Bacchus Pub & Kitchen in the upstairs private function room.

The function room has a maximum capacity of 50 so I will ask that if you wish to attend, please let me know via email hello@bow-occasions.co.uk. The tweet up is open to anyone in the wedding industry – be it a photographer, wedding planner, florist or a blogger – you’re all welcome.

There will be a live acoustic duo by the name of The Redfords who have very kindly offered to do a set for us. If you are a supplier and would like to get involved in the tweet up perhaps providing cupcakes Please do get in touch.

Reminder :: South East Wedding Tweet Up

With less than two weeks to go until the South East Wedding Tweet Up in London, I thought I would post a little reminder as there are still a small amount of spaces left.

The tweet up will take place at Bacchus Pub & Kitchen, 177 Hoxton Street, Shoreditch, London N1 6PJ in the upstairs private function room. The function room has a maximum capacity of 50 but there are only 10 spaces left so I will ask that if you wish to attend, please let me know via email hello@bow-occasions.co.uk.

The Redfords have very kindly offered to do an acoustic set for us on the night.

South East Wedding Tweet Up

I am so excited to be hosting a South East Wedding Industry Tweet Up on Wednesday 1st December.

Twitter has been a great networking tool for me. I have ‘met’ so many amazing people and learned so much in my first few months of business that I thought it would be a great idea to host a Tweet Up.

There are so many people that we all talk to on a regular basis but have never met in person. This Tweet Up gives us a chance to do so.
