Pretty Sweet!
Anyone who knows me will tell you I love anything sweet – much to my dentist’s dismay.
With sweet tables and dessert tables being so popular in America, I couldn’t wait to add them to my service offerings. Visit the Sweet Tables and Dessert Tables page on the website to find out more. I will be doing a separate post soon showing the different types of tables I have created so far but for now let me leave you with these yummy photos from around the interweb.

Send a Yummycard – Personalised Cake Cards
I love supporting independant businesses and especially local ones. Yummycard are a company based in Tunbridge Wells in Kent, who specialise in individual personalised ‘cake cards’.
The cake cards are posted first-class and can be posted anywhere in the UK to anyone of your choice. Cakes are freshly baked to order with the best ingredients (organic/Fairtrade). Yummycards are giftboxed with co-ordinated ribbon and a hand-written tag.
Taken from the Yummycard website, here is what founder Karen says:
Yummycard.co.uk was started in 2009 by Karen Murdoch. Karen has a degree in design and a background in making wedding cakes and other special occasion cakes. Her eureka moment for Yummycards came when her daughter Polly told her about people sending each other virtual cakes on Facebook. It struck her how much nicer it would be to receive a real cake!
Karen lives in Tunbridge Wells, Kent with her husband, two teenagers and two chickens.
Ordering a Birthday Yummycard has 4 simple steps. . . . simply log onto their website and choose a Yummycard then:
1. Select the delivery date
2. Choose your colour and shape
3. Choose your tag
4. Personalise your Birthday Yummycard
Here’s the best news, all Yummycard cakes are just £8.50 including P & P.
I think Yummycards would make great wedding favours, birthday gifts or simply just because…
Happy Friday,
Louise xx
Vintage Scoops – A Traditional 1950s Style Ice Cream Van
I love Twitter. It is through Twitter, that I have found many great individuals and companies – one of which is the lovely Hayley from Vintage Scoops.
Hayley Southwood, the name behind Vintage Scoops is a girl, who bought an old 1973 Bedford CF ice cream van, painted her in pretty shades of blue and cream, decorated her with Cath Kidson oilcloth and pretty bunting and then named her ‘Betty’, after her Grandma and her hubby’s Nan.
Hayley entered a competition ran by Country Homes & Interiors and found out she had won the competition when she left her Nursery Nursing post in May of this year. Hayley won a fantastic new business advice package from Business Smiths, worth £6,000.
