Justin Alexander Bridal Wedding Dresses

It seemed fitting to feature Justin Alexander as the first of many wedding dress designers ‘In the spotlight’ as I am going to be a Justin Alexander bride. Of course, I’m not going to reveal the actual dress until after the wedding itself but here is a taster of some gorgeous Justin Alexander Bridal wedding dresses. Is my dress one of the ones below? Maybe?!

Vintage Princess Stationery

The wonderful world of Twitter introduced me to this lovely little stationery company, Vintage Princess.

Vintage Princess was born from a love of letterpress printing and all things vintage. They are a specialty letterpress design studio and have been creating wedding invitations, greeting cards and personalised stationery since 2003. Letterpress has been big over in the US for a while now and Amber rightly believes this beautiful print process should be more readily available to the UK wedding market.

Vintage Princess also offer a selection of digitally printed wedding invitations. All of their existing designs can be adapted to suit your wedding theme, or if you have something completely different in mind just drop them a line for a bespoke quote.

Vintage Princess are currently offering a free printable budget planner on their blog, so brides-to-be, what are you waiting for, get on over there!

The Wedding Diaries :: It’s a date!

Mr D and I got engaged last August, the 4th to be precise. He got down on one knee on the Olympic Bridge in Turin, Italy (it sounds more romantic than it was) and asked me to be his wife. That was nearly 9 months ago and wow, it has flown by!

It is now 1 year, 9 months and 25 days until the wedding. We are getting married on Friday 27th April 2012. Why that date in particular? The main reason we set the date for nearly 3 years down the line was so we can save for a wedding and a house. And April 27th? Well to be honest, no real reason, apart from the fact it was the last weekend in the off-peak season for our venue and we felt that there may be a chance (albeit a very small one) of a nice sunny day for a fraction of the cost. And if it rains? Well we have a lovely venue where no one will mind staying inside.
